Industrial performance and skills development: the FIF talks about it in Infra 360 In the last issue of INFRA 360, two talks give the floor to the Federation of Railway Industries on key issues for the future of the sector. Our President, Patrick Jeantet, comes back to a major challenge: to further develop the railway while controlling costs. This requires collective reflection on how we operate, but also the need to contain regulatory inflation that complicates projects, without ever compromising safety requirements. A strong conviction emerges: it is by re-thinking together our ways of working that we can gain efficiency and accelerate the development of the railway. In a second interview, Magali SENAUX, an attractive advisor, employment and training at the FIF and responsible for the deployment of the Railway EDEC, highlights another key issue: skills. Behind the image of the train, the track is above all a recruiting and training line. Through the action of the FIF Grand Est and the actions carried out within the framework of the Railway EDEC, carried out with the State, OPCO 2i, the UIMM and the trade union organisations, the objective is clear for the Federation: to better connect enterprises, jobseekers and training organisations, while making the skills sought by the industrialists more legible.
