In a sector where performance, safety and sustainability are priorities, the Federation of Railway Industries (FIF) plays a structuring role in providing the secretariat of CORIFER (Committee for the Guidance of Research and Railway Innovation), a genuine national body dedicated to research and innovation in rail. The CORIFER's mission is to: -Structuring the sector's R&D priorities, -Orient financing and calls for projects (including France 2030), -Mobilize industry, academic and public partners around common roadmaps. This collective work allows the emergence of innovative projects on crucial topics such as: - Smart signage, -Predictive maintenance and digitized workshops, -Use of light and durable materials. By coordinating CORIFER's work, the FIF actively contributes to bringing together the ecosystem around a shared ambition: to strengthen the competitiveness and sustainability of the French railway industry .
