Second rich and inspiring day at #SIFER2025 on the FIF Village! Between conferences, demonstrations and exchanges, this day highlighted the challenges and innovations of the rail sector. Back to highlights: A first exciting conference on data sharing with Séverine Rengnet (FERROCAMPUS), Bertrand Gryspeert (Vossloh Switch Systems), Mélanie Veissier (EONA-X) and Jean-Michel Estibals (RAILWAI), moderated by Frédéric Burguière. A presentation of the UBIRAIL solution by Lina Duarte. A focus on the development of railway services at Vossloh with Carole Vignon, Emmanuel Ettighoffer (Vossloh Services France) and Christophe Calley (FRANCE AGUILLAGES SERVICES). Discover the GS1 standards applied to the railway with Claude BAUDRY (GS1 France), Jean-Jacques Mogoro, Charles-François VERMEESCH (SNCF Voyageurs) and Pascal BOULAIRE (Vossloh). A presentation of the Hitachi Rail solution for the safe monitoring of level crossings by Philippe Laviron and Nicolas Chauveau. Focus on Vossloh's innovative switch, designed for optimized tram maintenance, presented by Philippe Vuylsteke and Guillaume Goutorbe. A closed-window conference on ecodesign in the service of a high-performance railway with Henri Saucy (Vossloh), Annelise Baudouin (SYSTRA) and Jean de la Chapelle (Colas Rail). The day continued with a round table by the Rail Open Lab on the transition to scale between innovation and industrialization, with Rémy FORET (RATPgroup), Emmanuel Doucet (dotflow), Nicolas Kinderstuth (SCLE), Nicolas Poitrineau (SISGEO RAIL®) and Thomas Bardaine (Sercel). Institutional time: alongside the delegation of the Regions of France, we walked through the fair alleys to meet our followers (Vossloh, CIM, Rail Europe Solutions, ACC-M, ACTIA, Equans, SCLE, Colas Rail, Saferail, Siemens Mobility) in order to discover their innovations that shape the future of the railway and to exchange concretely on the levers of cooperation between industrial actors and communities. Another highlight, our director of the Industrie Jean-Jacques Mogoro division took part in the presentation of the Kaizen Institute project, organised with the AIF - Association of Railway Industries, illustrating how industrial performance becomes a major strategic lever for the future of the railway industry. Finally, the day ended in conviviality with theafterwork Affer的Hauts-de-France, a nice moment of informal exchanges co-organised with our faithful partners: AIF, i-Trans, Railenium, the Hauts-de-France Region.
