On 26 and 27 March 2025, the first Franco-German Conference on the Railway System was held in Metz, bringing together experts, companies, researchers and institutions to discuss the challenges and advances of the sector. A key event that addressed the technological advances and challenges to safely deploy autonomous trains. Among the highlights of these days: Issue decryption: security, certification, artificial intelligence and regulatory developments. Meetings and networking with key players in the sector. The autonomous train is no longer a concept of the future, it becomes a reality! This seminar marked a new stage in the transformation of the railway towards more digitalisation, performance and sustainability.
