SUPFERRO: a new decisive step for the future of the French railway sector On 28 May in Saintes, the French railway industry took a major step with the launch of SUPFERRO, the first public engineering school entirely dedicated to the railway. Led by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region, FERROCAMPUS and La Rochelle University, this structuring initiative demonstrates a strong ambition for the future of our industry. The FIF, member of the Board of Directors of Ferrocampus, salutes this collective dynamic and thanks all the actors involved in bringing out this strategic project for our sector. This launch event took place in the presence of Alain Rousset, President of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region, whose commitment to the railway is crucial, as well as Jean Castex, CEO of SNCF Group, who have come to reaffirm the strategic importance of training and skills for the future of the sector. Training tomorrow's talents is a key issue for the competitiveness of our industrial enterprises. Strong skills adapted to the needs of the sector are the prerequisite for continuing to innovate, produce in France and bring our know-how to international level.
