Return to MECATEAMEETINGS 2025 – L The Federation of Railway Industries was present in Montceau-les-Mines for the MECATEAMEETINGS, a major event that brings together every year the players in maintenance and railway, organized by Mecateamcluster Network. A highlight for collective reflection During the round table on the Relevance of a mutualised AI tool for the rail industry, our president of the FIF Digital Technology Group and member of the board of directors, Jean-Michel Estibals, spoke alongside Jésica Teixeira, Project Manager MECATEAMCLUSTER, Fayçal Rezgui, CEO Araiko (Cynapps) and Claire van Overstraeten, Innovation Business Manager at Bpifrance. He was able to recall the importance: - implementing collaborative digital tools, - encourage data sharing and the sharing of solutions, All in order to strengthen the competitiveness of the whole sector through innovation. A collective event The event was also an opportunity to reunite with FERROCAMPUS, Neopolia and CARA Transport & Mobility Systems, members of the FIF Railway Business Clusters, but also to exchange views with many stakeholders – industrial, partner and institutional – who shared their plans and visions for the future of the railway. Future-oriented innovations We also had the chance to welcome UBIRAIL, which presented its next generation of teaching tools. Their approach promises to transform training in the rail sector by integrating more digital and simulation into tomorrow's skills. GS1 was also now at our side to present the GS1 standards and the interest for the railway industry to adopt them, in particular to improve the interoperability and efficiency of trade within the sector.
