For this 2nd national edition of the Roadtrain Girly 2026, the sector has mobilized everywhere in France with a simple conviction: the mix is not decreed, it is built on the ground. - No-filter exchanges with technicians, engineers, managers. - Visits to industrial sites to see how train, rail, catenary and signal systems are born, maintained and evolving: in short, the railway system. - Demonstrations and meetings to allow everyone to project themselves. In Île-de-France, immersion in the heart of innovation. At the showroom of Hitachi Rail in Vélizy-Villacoublay, the participants discovered the technologies that shape the railway of tomorrow. Above all, they have exchanged with women managers in the sector: inspiring paths that demonstrate leadership, technical expertise and industry go hand in hand. In the Far East, with the FIF Grand East, the experiment took root in Reichshoffen, as close as possible to industrial sites. The participants were welcomed by Vossloh Switch Systems and CAF (Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles) for an immersion at the heart of the industrial trades. The morning went on at the CFAI Alsace, illustrating in concrete terms the link between training, apprenticeship and vocational integration. Visits to workshops, exchanges with professionals and testimonies made it possible to make visible the trajectories sometimes unknown but resolutely accessible. From Hauts-de-France to Occitanie, through Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Centre-Val de Loire and Bourgogne-Franche-Comté; The initiatives carried out by the clusters and partner companies show that it is the whole industry that has advanced in the same direction. Because behind the figures, even less than 25% of women in the European railway industry, there is a major issue: opening up a strategic, innovative and meaningful sector more broadly.
