[INNOTRANS] Back to the 3rd day of the show #InnoTrans2024 In the morning, Patrick Jeantet and Igor Bilimoff met our Italian counterparts from ANIE Federazione. With Michele Viale, President of the Italian Federation of Railway Industries, we discussed the issues facing our industries in Europe. These exchanges highlighted the common challenges and opportunities for collaboration that could strengthen the European rail sector. During the afternoon, we continued discussions with our members Vossloh Switch Systems, Howden, A Chart Industries Company, ACTIA Railway and Frauscher Sensor Technology France, as well as players in the industry such as MERMEC and Eurailscout France. These meetings allowed us to better understand each other's expectations and ambitions, while exploring ways to advance our common projects. The day ended with the #FrenchRailNight, a networking event organized by Business France and sponsored by FIF. Along with Pascale Thieffry, Director of the France Pavilion at Business France and Axel Schuppe, General Delegate of the Verband der Bahnindustrie in Deutschland (VDB) e.V. (German Railway Industry Association), our President was able to express his wish to encourage the railway to go further for attractiveness, decarbonisation and innovation! This moment provided a favourable framework to strengthen our relations with the various players in the sector, while closing the day on a user-friendly note.
