A circular economy, ecodesign and CSR criteria: key issues for the railway industry! Yesterday, FIF had the pleasure of participating in the 3rd edition of the Carbon Fighter Forum, organized by Colas Rail France. On this occasion, Stéphane Malivet, Head of CSR & Circular Economy at the FIF, contributed to the animation of a brainstorming workshop on CSR criteria in tenders. Objective: CSR criteria are sometimes perceived as complex or binding on industrialists. This collaborative workshop helped to work on consolidating a complaint book, identifying the brakes encountered and proposing suitable solutions. To the programme: • Prioritisation of the difficulties encountered by the sector. • Analysis of concrete cases from GSP clausiers and an anonymised example. Exchanges around international good practices. Incorporation of a shared deliverable with RATPgroup, SNCF Group, and GSP to improve the readability and applicability of CSR criteria. A strategic issue for the entire railway industry! The final objective is to better align the expectations of the suppliers and the capacities of the manufacturers, in order to build clear, ambitious and applicable CSR criteria.
